The Mayor’s Resiliency in Youth Lunch-n-Learn Series

A learning and collaborative opportunity to focus on the future of Cheyenne:  The resiliency of our youth in the community. Part 3 coming up soon!

Building Bridges Initative

"Building Bridges is a national initiative working to identify and promote practice and policy that will create strong and closely coordinated partnerships and collaborations between families, youth, community and residentially based treatment and service providers, advocates and policy makers to ensure that comprehensive mental health services and supports are available to improve the lives of young people and their families.” Building Bridges Initiative

Wyoming held its first meeting to discuss a Wyoming Joint Resolution on October 5, 2016. This was the first step towards recognizing the Building Bridges Initiative and the importance of creating a comprehensive service array for children, youth and families. Following the creation of the resolution, conference participants had the opportunity to sign on as interested parties.

There will be more conversations regarding the resolution and how to move it forward in Wyoming. It’s not too late to be a part of this exciting movement!  If you are interested in being involved please contact Sharon Weber
